I get on famously with young children, so you don’t have to worry. Three year olds will often ask me to stay longer, holding hands on the way back from a photo session. I’ll bring out the best in shy children, I’m fully prepared for 1 year olds to wander around at will, teenage moods and everything inbetween. I understand the chaos of family life and I don’t mind getting muddy!
Good family photography is really important. It becomes so valuable as time passes. My parents have passed away, and the old family photos that have survived are some of the most important things I own. The photos we create now are like gifts for our future selves and family.

Here’s a few photos from a family photoshoot in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham. It’s a large park, so there’s enough space to find quiet spots with beautiful light for natural photos. The photo session lasted about an hour, and felt like a family morning out with a friend taking photos.
